I was thinking about you all day! That is a FANTASTIC time for a first marathon. You killed it. What did you think of the overall experience? How'd you feel after you stopped running? And of course the most important question - what will be your next race? =)

CONGRATULATIONS! You now join the less than 1% of Americans who can say they've run a marathon...

I will run Bayshore in Traverse City Michigan in May. I do have a half in San Antonio Nov 15.

I loved the experience until Mile 22 - Mile 18 started some weird calf cramping but at mile 22 I wanted to die!

I made the mistake of running with the 3:30 pace group for about 6 miles. I should have started with the 335 group because that's what I trained for. I was a little disheartened when the 3:40 pacer passed me with one mile to go. Overall I am happy - I never thought I could do this - last year I was running 9 min miles for a 10 k!

Hopefully in a few years I can BQ - I'll need a 3:15 for 5 years :/

Blair was getting the camera set up and he let it run for 5 minutes before he gave up b/c he never saw. However, playing it back, in the first 20 seconds, when he's still fiddling with the controls, we spotted me running by...
